My New Camera Just Arrived !!

Today my new camera came from Amazon its a Olympus SP-590UZ 12MP Digital Camera with 26X Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD

I'm hoping to play with it this weekend and take some pictures of the Wurttemberg and 1806 Prussian I have been basing the last 2 weeks and post them up.

I'm also looking to let Nat get a new camera also ..... as the one she is using is in bad need of replacing !!

Duchy of Warsaw

Nat had painted up some samples for my long off project of the Duchy of Warsaw. This will not really start until after the British Project is complete !!

This project has the following

44 x 42 Fig Infantry Btns 36 Marching & 6 Skirmishers
17 x 32 Fig Cavalry Regts
12 x Batteries of Artillery I think

......................This Weeks Work....................

This last weeks work has been busy but I was able to find some time to get some long over do

basing done So far

14 Btns of Wurrtemberg Line Regts Based on 4 bases per Btns with 32 Figs total, I still need to finish mounting the flags.

32 Bts of Jena Prussian Line Infantry ........... Based on 4 bases per Btns with 32 Figs total per Btn.

All are being based on Litko Bases 40mm wide by 20mm Deep. It give a nice shoulder to shoulder look, but I wish I have made the bases a bit more deep as it is hard get the sand and grass around the feet with them all so close together.

I also plan to design a movement tray for each Unit so I can do some more ground work in front of the soldiers.

And who does most of my work ................... well here she is !!!

But I do the basing !!!

Coming soon in the Next 2 weeks will be the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd KGL Hussars and the 7th and 15th British Hussars

I have so much basing to do I hate to think about it ...... 90% of my Prussians don't have real bases yet and it will take months to do I think .......... Well its a long winter in Minnesota ...... so wish me luck
